Within 24 hours, we contact you on WhatsApp at the number you entered on Stripe. Send clear photos of the front and back of your home-country license, confirm your application city and delivery address, and give us the go-ahead. We then arrange the translation and delivery.
Yes. Choose the €45 translation with delivery outside China. The €25 option includes delivery within China. Each price covers the translation and shipping, paid together on Stripe.
Bring your valid original driving license, stamped Chinese translation, passport or travel document used to enter China, and visa or stay/residence permit if applicable. Bring two recent 1-inch color ID photos with a white background; Shanghai also offers photos on site. Your license must be a full license, rather than a learner’s, provisional or internship license.
Plan for around 1–2 hours at the office for the application and road-safety briefing. Shanghai issues the permit on site once you complete the process; Beijing lists up to 3 working days. Check your office’s opening hours and appointment arrangements before you go.
You pay the permit fee directly to the office. Beijing lists ¥10 per temporary permit; photo services may cost extra. These local fees are separate from your translation order.
An international driving permit (IDP) isn’t valid in mainland China. For your trip, get a temporary Chinese driving permit using your valid home-country license and its Chinese translation.
The DMV sets the validity based on your stay in China: generally up to 3 months for short visits, or up to 1 year for longer stays. Use the expiry date printed on your permit; it does not always match your visa’s expiry date.
You can ask DMV staff for help arranging a translation locally. Our service lets you have the stamped copy delivered to your hotel before your visit, so that part is already done.
Yes. We arrange delivery on WhatsApp after payment, so you don’t need a hotel address to order. Send us the details once you have them. Your hotel can be in the city where you’ll pick up your car or apply for the permit.
Contact us before you give the go-ahead if you want to cancel. Once you confirm on WhatsApp that we should proceed with the translation, the order is non-refundable. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
